		<description>I have similar things happen with my daughter and her friends and it's wonderful to see.

It's the children that accept their friends with food allergies more than the parents do, I've found. The kids are used to it.

I agree that we should celebrate these little triumphs when we come across them. :)</description>

		<description>We have several friends allergic to many things. This has happened to me with my 4-year old. He'll ask about the snack we're bringing to the pool/playground and why that's what I selected and if the friend is allergic to whatever it is we're bringing. He's very good about washing his hands and face now after eating the peanut butter so he can go play with the other kids....just in case.</description>
